OHMYGAWD! My little baby girl, whom I will call Coco, is all of 5 weeks and 5 days old, and last night she slept for SEVEN STRAIGHT HOURS! I put her down in her crib at 10 and didn’t hear from her until 5 this morning. In general, she’s been a decent sleeper – up to five hours at a stretch, but last night was a record! I’m so proud of her, and I’m so well-rested that I hardly even need this Starbuck’s iced vanilla latte I’m nursing right now. But… our local Starbuck’s is a drive-through, which is about the only place I’ve ventured with my little girls since Little Bean arrived. That’s right, I’m scared… of all the work that goes into lugging around two small children on my own. I’m not up for it yet. Even with the arrival of my coveted Maclaren (best strollers ever!) Twin Triumph stroller in coffee brown. I will get there, just not today. Or even this week. But oh my gosh, I do owe my older daughter, whom I will call Sweet Pea, a trip to our local park.
