Ugh. What a day. I noticed this morning that Coco had a lot of what looked to be ear wax in her little ears. Only I later realized it wasn’t ear wax, but more likely it was spit up and drool that has pooled in her ears. Probably happened when she was sleeping. And so I used these nifty little cotton swabs that are made just for little ears. I use them with my older daughter occasionally, too. And I know you aren’t supposed to clean inside the canal, so I just used them on the outside area. I did not go anywhere near the entrance to her inner ear. But later in the day, I saw her resting her little hand on one of her ears, and I panicked. I spent the rest of the afternoon dropping my unabridged dictionary on the floor and banging pots with wooden spoons and generally making a complete ass of myself – all in the name of making sure I didn’t deafen her. I didn’t.

You have a lovely site!
LOL! We have all been there.
Love the digs. Leanne sent me over to check it out!
I’ve never used those, I generally just jam a regular q-tip in there until they wince or in some cases, scream – and then stop. ;P
Seriously, I’ve just recently purchased an earwax cleaning kit thing for my little one and got a nice big prize at the end of that fight. She wasn’t really going deaf, after all!
LOL!!! We’ve all been there…
