Pea’s second birthday party was a monumental success. She ate jelly bellies (a no-no in our house on any other day of the year) and popsicles and blew out the candles on her birthday cake (how did she just know how to do this?) and opened presents. There was a lot of oohing and ahhing and even a little crying (me). We are registering her tomorrow morning for preschool for the fall and I just keep shaking my head and wondering when this all happened – when my little bitty baby girl became a toddler. A preschooler.
