It’s a quiet Saturday morning here in Fort Worth. After waffles, smoothies & a very long watercolor painting session, Pea announced to me that she was ready to take a nap. This doesn’t happen often in our house, that she asks us to put her down for a nap. But she insisted she was tired and so I put her in her crib. And then I went into the den to clean up her toys and I found this:

A giant green crayon resting next to a giant green drawing on the middle cushion of our fairly new Ralph Lauren sofa. But I did not freak out. Because 1) it’s only a couch and 2) the Crayons are washable (how brilliant is that?!) and 3) I have Kids & Pets that is absolutely amazing and I only wish I’d come up with it myself because I’d be really filthy stinking rich.
