I ate way too much food today. It should be illegal to eat as much as I did. But I kept justifying it by saying “it’s Thanksgiving, it comes once a year…” Well, in all honestly it might just take me the rest of the year to recover.

Today, I’m most thankful for children. And not just my own, but children in general. I think that for me, they are the most pertinent teachers. Watching Pea run around with her cousins today was pretty incredible. These kids are just so happy and light and vibrant and it’s hard to take yourself too seriously when you are surrounded by that kind of energy.

A good day indeed.
