boo boo

I love to shop at Target. I don’t know a mother who doesn’t. You can find everything under the sun there, and it’s all going to be pretty chic, too. I don’t know how they manage to do it, get in all of these really cutting edge designers and have them design really affordable pieces for them, but they do it. And not just in clothing, but in housewares, linens, you name it. But mostly when I am at Target, it’s to stock up on things like diapers and wipes and smoothies and items from the beauty and healthcare department. Like the cutest and most clever little first aid kit for kids I have ever seen. The Boo Boo Rescue kit is adorable – the band-aids are shaped like little creatures (horses, starfish, cows…) and come in both small and large sizes and in addition there are a ton of other items in there – everything you could possibly need for a kid who just scraped a knee, including a play stethoscope, which comes in handy when you need to preoccupy them while cleaning a wound. Not a day goes by when Pea isn’t wearing one of the “bam-bays,” and it’s rarely because she has an actual boo boo. She is, at 2 1/2, unclear on the concept of a boo boo that requires a band-aid and a boo boo that does not. If she bumps her leg, knocks her elbow, stubs her toe, she comes running to me for a band-aid. I’m pretty sure it’s just because the ones in this kit are so darn cute.

I always leave Target a very happy women! Good thing I have to drive 45 mins to get to one. I never leave without spending at least $100.
