Who would ever guess that you could find a really great and neutral lip gloss that’s not at all tacky and is totally cheap at your local grocery store? I wouldn’t have guessed it. But I did.
Albertson’s. I don’t normally shop there. I just ran in for some soy milk. And as I was walking out, I noticed that they had a large selection of Wet & Wild make-up, which is not that easy to find. I figured I’d stock up on my favorite liner, #666. I picked up a gloss to take home, too, just out of curiosity, because, well, you know… I can’t resist the gloss. It’s called Bronze Berry and I highly recommend it as a nice and natural-looking shade that’s not too glossy or sticky and actually mixes really well with other colors and textures. Might this be a new staple in my make-up drawer? And might I need a larger make-up drawer soon? Yes and yes.
I love a bargain as much as the next person, and this is a good one. And it’s cruelty free, to boot.

I was going to recommend ELF too (www.eyeslipsface.com). Cheap cheap cheap.
With a lot of makeup (cheap or expensive), just check to make sure it doesn’t contain parabens. A lot of makeup does and it’s a chemical (preservative) that some believe is linked to cancer. Yuck.
I am going to try the liner and the gloss tomorrow. Have you tried ELF gloss in “Baby Lips” for a buck I loved it. I don’t know much about ELF but it seems a little like Wet and Wild. Smooches to the lip gloss Queen!
Anyway I met this lady at the make up counter who has an actual lazy susan in her makeup cabinet for all of her loose poweders and eye shadows. So you are not alone.

Melissa, I think you might need a closet not drawer. Couldn’t imagine it to be possible but from what I read of you, you have more makeup than a NM makeup department. Envious of your drawer in the extreme. I love makeup too. Doesn’t do much for me which is why I guess I keep buying and buying and buying. Always hoping…
