Robyn asked me to let her know what I ended up sending the three “chosen ones” from my pay it forward, and since I now know that the lucky ladies have all received their packages, I won’t be ruining anyone’s surprise.
I sent them each a Lancome Juicy Tube in Spring Fling, a color (or non-color, I should say) that I’ve worn for years. I think it’s the only gloss, in a specific shade, that I have remained loyal to and continued to buy over the years. There’s no glitter or shimmer in it and it really is just a pale and nearly colorless pink. You can wear it alone or layer it over just about anything (I personally like to layer it on top of Wet ‘n Wild 666 Brandywine lipliner… genius and at 99 cents a liner, you cannot go wrong!) and it smells heavenly.

I don’t really have a favorite lip balm, I’m so fickle. Currently, I’m using one by Bobbi Brown that comes in a little metal pot. It has an SPF 15 but you need to use your finger, which is not my favorite thing to do. But that’s what is in my bag right now and I do like it because it has an SPF. I have REALLY bad chapped lips. Always. I think that’s why I don’t use lip stick. I just can’t ever get them 100% smooth and chap-free. It drives me nuts. I must have a million lip balms all over the house, my car, etc. But there’s just not one that’s really done it for me. I’ll let you know if my search ever ends!
Love the new gloss and I so needed one, I have a couple of WnW lip liner colors that I use depending on the mood.

I too love Lancome Juicy Tubes even though when the wind blows the hair does stick. Still, they have a color that is eternally in my purse and has been so for the past 4 years. Beach Plum. Looks divine with just a bit of lip liner that has been smudged with the gloss. Lucky girls, the ones who won.
I have to second the Alba’s Coconut Cream lipgloss, makes you feel like you are on the beach in the middle of freezing winter. Thanks for showing what you sent. I will have to check it out.
Have you tried the Alba Coconut Creme Lip Gloss? It’s a keeper too and I wear it over the 99 cent Wet ‘n Wild lip liner you introduced me to…now if I could just keep that dang thing sharpened and quit scratching my lips trying to put it on when it’s down to the nub. My lips are in awful shape and I ran out of Clinique’s All About Lips (which wasn’t that great), I’m getting sick of Burt’s Bees chaptstick and the Aveeno chapstick smells and feels great, but doesn’t last very long. Help!!!
