We've read all of the books you mentioned with the exception that I have 3 boys and Fancy Nancy just won't fly at our home. X says, "please" (with hands held up for extra emphasis) and "thank you". At 18 mos, he used to say "thankyouwelcome" whenever we gave him something he had asked "peas" for. Too cute!
