can be a headache… or just give you one…

Clogs are the most comfortable shoes that I own. Perhaps not the best-looking shoe, but there’s just something to be said for comfort. And luckily, these days, the selection is getting better and better.

Pea’s first pair of clogs were little leopard ones by Hanna Anderson. Of course, I had to have the matching mommy pair. And while clogs and small feet don’t exactly make the most ideal of couples (clomp clomp clomp), Pea was delighted. And she wore those shoes into the ground.

Shortly after putting her very first pair to sleep, we replaced them with another leopard clog. Although this one was more than twice the price of her Hanna Anderson’s. And did not hold up nearly as well. The leopard on the toes of each clog wore off pretty quickly. Frustrating, to say the least. And so, those clogs did not have a long life at our home. They, too, were put to rest.

And then, an email from Hanna Anderson. The shop’s Classic Swedish Clogs for girls are on sale. On sale! At a really good price, especially when you take into account the quality of these shoes. Had to have a new pair for Pea. Just had to. So after showing her the colors on the computer monitor, she chose… silver. Little silver clogs. Not the pale pink. Not the bright pink. But silver. Silver! She’s moving on! From the bubblegum pink of her childhood! Just kidding. I wouldn’t exactly call it moving on. But silver? Over pink? That’s quite a step forward for her. Heck, it’s a huge leap!

Anyway, cute little clogs for girls. On sale at Hanna Anderson. A good deal for a sturdy and comfy shoe that your little one will live in.

Those are actually really cute! I’ve never been much for clogs (never really worn them) but those are super duper cute.
