Makes me think of the Darius Rucker song…’it won’t be like this for long.’ Brings tears to my eyes that our babies will be grown-ups in the blink of an eye and all of these antics will be distant memories.

Awww, that was a sweet post. There was a time when we thought my oldest, now 6, would never sleep. I too tried everything from heating up her sheets, (because it must be the cold sheets waking her up right?) to letting her cry it out for FIVE hours. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I gave up long before 5 hours but by that point, she was so upset, she couldn’t stop crying. And now? At the ripe old age of 6? SHE SLEEPS! Like a rock! Don’t be too jealous though. My 2 year old has never spent one night in her crib. I’m not kidding. She sleeps with us. I swore I would never do that and here I am doing it. I just can’t help it, she’s my last one and I just love to cuddle and squish her and she is just the most amazing little person to snuggle up next to…. SIGH. Aren’t they wonderful?!
