My time is valuable. I once heard that if stay-at-home mothers were actually paid for the work that they did, they’d make somewhere around $800,000 a year. Can you imagine? How do we work that one out?

LOVE IT!! My brother in law said something similar to me the first time my husband went on an overseas trip…he came over for dinner and after putting dinner on the table and tending to 2 fussy toddles, I was explaining why I was so flustered with life, he had the nerve to say (very seriously, I might add), “But it isn’t like you have a job…not a real one anyway.”

Let’s just say the dinners quickly curtailed after that remark. ;-)
