So I know I’ve mentioned Peacock Republic before – it was a post about a year ago about great hostess gifts to give as an alternative to a bottle of wine. Which is always just fine in and of itself, but then what? To open and enjoy with the giver or put away to enjoy at a later date? So many other things for a hostess to think about when she has guests. So why not some beautifully package bottles and bars of soap?

Personally, I’m always interested in the soap that people have next to their powder room sink. Do you notice that, too? Is it a pretty bottle, a bar in a dish? I’m all for pretty bottles in a powder room and bars in lovely dishes elsewhere in the house. But that’s just me.

Luckily, I have a bunch of Peacock Republic’s bottles of soap next to every sink in my house. They look so pretty and have charming names on them, such as ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ and ‘Hope in My Pocket.’ Just a gentle reminder to those reading the bottles of good things. I like that.
