Cute dress, right? I haven’t been into a Gap in forever. At least not unless it was to grab something for the girls. But this dress caught my eye. I have always loved shirt-dresses. They are wildly flattering on every body type. And that this one is denim with a slight Western-cut makes it absolutely perfect. Love the price, too.
But that got me to thinking: what else am I missing?
This tote, perfect for summer. Love a bright color to lighten up all of those neutrals in my wardrobe.

oh good, i was just about to order the x large with the regular handles since it seems i could still place it over my shoulder if i needed to. and what a great idea to give as a anniversary gift. i have a baby shower to go to and thought of getting one and filling it up with baby books and stuff. good to know the clarisonic is working for you. i think i may just pick it up the next time i come across it. thanks chica!!
Yes, the LL Bean Boat & Tote is the way to go for any of your toting needs! I must have a dozen of these bags, no kidding. For everything. And I have them monogrammed – “Barbies” and “Picnics” and “Riding…” The list goes on and on! In fact I just sent a pair of them (large size) for a second anniversary (cotton) gift to a couple I know. Blue for the guy, pink for the girl, and had them monogrammed “Mr.” and “Mrs.” They were a huge hit. The more beat up they get over time, the better they look! I’m partial to the regular length handles and the XL, in my opinion, is perfect for dragging all the towels, sunblock, beach toys, etc. to the beach to cover the entire family. Although I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with the large size, either.
And yes, I am a HUGE proponent of the Clarisonic brush. I use it twice a day, without fail, and I recommend it to anyone who asks what I use on my face. It’s well worth the splurge…
i just love your recommendations! and i’m lovin’ that tote. speaking of totes, i’m in search of a good beach tote to lug all the kids stuff around. i’m looking into the llbean boat tote. do you happen to have one? i was thinking maybe the extra large one with the long handles but i’m so freakin’ indecisive, i’m still torn between the large and the x large, the short or the long handles!!! oh and don’t get me started on colors. ha! one more thing… i remember reading you had gotten the clarisonic cleanser and was curious to know if it’s worked for you. I almost picked one up at nordstrom the other day but for the price, i want to make sure it’s worth it. thanks melissa!! hey, post some pics of the girls. they must be so big…
