an affordable alternative to my obsession with $425 clog boots!

A year or so ago, I bought Coco a pair of Sanita clog boots. They are lined with faux shearling and are just so adorable. They were enormous on her, but the fact that they were about to be discontinued forced my hand. We had to have them. (Thankfully, she’s still wearing them this year!)

But when the owner of our local shoe shop offered me the opportunity to purchase a pair of them in my size, I graciously declined. While I thought they were adorable for my kid, no way was I putting those clunkers on my feet. I already have Fred Flintstone-ish tootsies. So, no.

Flash-forward a year later, and I cannot stop thinking about those stinking No. 6 clog boots. But as a mom with two kids, I just can’t bring myself to spend that kind of money on shoes anymore. I wish I could. But I can’t. The guilt. It’s just not good for my soul.

So I did some digging around and while the adult version of the Sanita clog is in close-outs, you can still find a pair in your size! I found mine in black, for under $100. A steal!

I’m checking the front door like a lunatic, waiting for the UPS man to deliver…

I’m going to look up these shoes right away. I saw a girl with clog boots on the other day and decided I needed a pair!!

They definitely run true to size. I am also a 7.5 / 38 but originally ordered a 39 which were way too big on me. I exchanged for a 38. Hope you find them!

ok so i’m just about to order but realize they don’t have my size in black. i’m 7.5 which is 38 but do u find that they run big or true to size? otherwise, i’ll need to track them down elsewhere!!

You can pull it all the way up, which is my own preference. There is a thin stamp when you do this, but it’s not visible unless you’re up close and personal

One question- is the top of the boot folded over and sewn, or can you pull it up all the way? Thanks!!

Sanitas are super-comfy! I bought mine in black, because I need another pair of brown boots like I need a hole in the head. Although I must admit that I LOVE the brown ones! Love love love! Here’s to a speedy recovery…

    And Happy Birthday, Janet!
