I know I’m not supposed to use it. Petroleum, and all. But I can’t stop. It’s so dry here, and the climate plus the heat in our house is just destroying our skin. Little Coco had a nasty case of excema break out on her chin and upper lip, but I put Aquaphor on the spots for a couple of nights, and now her gorgeous and peachy little girl skin is back, once again.
I just can’t do without…
And those small tubes that they sell in 2-packs? I have them everywhere – all over the house, in the car – but never found them that great for lip application because there was no, well, applicator. But now? It seems they’ve done a little tweaking, reformulated it specifically as a lip product (no petroleum, as far as I can see), and added an applicator!
Heaven for my very chapped lips…

We’ve used Aquaphor since my oldest was a baby (almost 13 years) — it’s the wonder balm!
The best (and safest, I might add) lip balm I’ve ever used is Lansinoh breast cream. Seriously. It lasts forever and if your kids can ingest it safely, so can you.
why not petroleum? yes, ever since i had kids, aquaphor has been a staple in my home. use it for their bums, rashes, my heels!!! works great.
I thought I was the only person who used Aquaphor! I discovered it about two years ago when my son had a nasty case of diaper rash. Everything else I used seemed to make it worse. I, too, have tubes of it all over my house (especially this time of year). I’ll have to look for the lip version next time I’m out at Target
