On a rainy Saturday morning, the girls and I stumbled into a charming toy store in Berkeley, California, that harkened back to my own childhood: one filled with wooden toys, Legos, design-a-plate kits and lots of books.

I loaded up on Melissa & Doug place mats and special crayons. So much fun for Coco to work on her alphabet and Pea to work on counting to 100 over breakfast each morning.
